LaCrescent is a cold vine variety developed at the University of Minnesota. It was specifically bred to withstand harsh winters. Known for its aromatic qualities, LaCrescent contributes notes of apricot, honey, and tropical fruits. The grape brings natural acidity and complexity to blends, balancing with the rounder characteristics of Chardonnay while adding citrus elements and a refreshing finish.
